Genius Boy of the Nityanand Nagar (Ghatkopar West) Master Mohammad Ali Bashir Sayyed, won the India's biggest puzzle competition

 Mohammad Ali Bashir Sayyed, a student of Mumbai Municipal English medium school, has won the KenKen International Championship national round, said to be India's biggest puzzle competition, held in Mumbai on March 09.

Mohd Ali, a Class 5 student of Pant Nagar Municipal English School No. 3 Ghatkopar in Mumbai, who defeated over 35,000 students to win the national round, will now represent the country at the international contest to be held in New York on May 31, 2015.

Ali was trained for the contest by the school head master Dayanand Shukla and his teacher Preeniti Sanghe.

Ali will be joined by Dhani Banganiof Gokuldham High School, Gaurav Pandey of Ryan International School, Srishti Chakraborty of Delhi Public School and Devika Pillai of O. P. Jindal School at the the KenKen International Championship final round.

The KenKen competition, which is about Maths puzzle to improve logical thinking, reasoning, calculation power, is organised by Grey Sim Limited, an edutainment sector company.

According to Vishal, the CEO of Grey Sim, the organisation had organised the contest of 5th class students of government and private schools in Mumbai. Over 35,000 students from 24 different cities participated in the contest.

He said the five winners of the national round will now travel to New York in the United States for the final round, and all their expenses will be borne by the company.

Aadhaar card is not mandatory for availing of LPG refill or connection

Requirement of Aadhaar Card for LPG Connection 

The Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum & Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply today that Aadhaar card is not mandatory for availing or continuance of LPG refill or LPG connection. 

OMCs have been directed that blocking of refills of Non Cash Transfer Compliant customers at local level by LPG distributors is not permitted and complaints in this regard should be immediately taken up and resolved along with necessary action against the erring distributor as deemed fit.
